Carolynn Helton's Classes
This site shows all the classes I have taught or currently teach. My goal is to have all the curriculum available here online for students, parents and myself. Currently I am teaching Photography/Yearbook, Art Exporations, Video/Media, Leadership and Mixed Media Arts at ERCLC (Eleanor Roosevelt) .

RESHOOT OR GO OUT AND SHOOT ANYTHING THAT IS MISSING OR YOU DIDN'T TURN IN!
Also, re arrange all photos from assignments so only your best work is showing. RESHOOT ANY WEAK IMAGE!
Element of Art - Need all 13 and strong ones, replace any that are not strong.
Photo Comp - Need all 9 and strong ones, replace any that are not strong.
Silhouette - At least 5, but if all 10 are strong put them all in. Put as many in that are strong, but no less than 6. Retake some if needed.
Chiaroscuro - Need all 5 and strong ones, replace any that are not strong.
Slow Shutter - At least 6, but if all 12 are strong put them all in. Put as many in that are strong, but no less than 6. Retake some if needed.
Creative Extras-At least15, but if all 30 are strong put them all in. Put as many in that are strong, but no less than 15. Retake some if needed.
Bio- Have a photo of you and a paragraph
Resume- look at wikihow resume in a google search for layout and info.
Students are expected to turn in work to the shared drop box folder by the due dates (folders are time stamped). In addition to turning work in on the drop box, students are to make and maintain a wix portfolio site at www.wix.com. Wix is a template site and each student needs to modify the template to make it there own. Keep in mind the address is based off of your email, so make sure your email is appropriate (if not, create a new email that has appropriate text). Your accoutn will let you make more than one web site, make sure the one for photography says hthphoto as the name. Your web address will look like this then, http://youremailbeforetheatsign.wix.com/hthphoto This needs to display the projects in tabs by the project and be labeled and displayed in order and by name to show understanding of the projects and composition. In addition to tabs for the projects there needs to be a short bio page with a self portrait. The bio should be kept professional and give insite to interests and personality.
